All BHP UK ECU maps are custom-built and tuned using methods we've studied and perfected, then backed up and proven on our own Dynojet 224XLC rolling road, capable of measuring up to 2000bhp.
The dyno lets us examine exactly how an engine is running: turbo boost, intake air temperature, air/fuel ratio, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and the power and torque the engine is actually developing. Every change made during a remap is constantly monitored, in case anything changes that shouldn't.
The dyno also has a built-in weather station, with the software automatically correcting for atmospheric conditions. Unlike some competitors, we measure transmission losses too, so our power figures can't be inflated by underestimating what the drivetrain is losing.
